The book exceeded my expectations by far. Jannie Douma - Rispens takes us on a very personal journey that touched me deeply. What an encouraging way to deal with a cancer diagnosis! She shows what miracles the right thoughts and a firm belief in a good outcome can achieve. For me, the book could also be called “Life Opportunities”, as it is full of valuable knowledge that can be applied in many situations in life. In my opinion, the book is a must-have for everyone.

My reason for going to Jannie was my need for stress management. Every time I had a check-up coming up, i got anxious. I slept badly, couldn't get a bite through my throat and had all kinds of thoughts in my head: stress!
Every time again the doubt: would it still be all right? What if... and my thoughts started running away with me again. Jannie helped me to get a better grip on this. With the help of Logosynthesis we got rid of the sharp edges. And I started working with affirmations to get myself back on track when I started to 'grind' again. That combination helped me a lot.
With these affirmations you also have the feeling that you are actively contributing. Reversing your fear thoughts. Not idly waiting, but changing your mind, thinking positively. From fear to confidence.
Together with Jannie I also looked back at what the diagnosis did to me at the time and how the whole treatment process had gone. We also worked on previous stress experiences. Because those memories remain stored in your body. Thanks to Logosynthesis I was able to let go.

I was already in counseling with Jannie when I was told that cancer cells had been found in my bladder. I was reminded of an aunt who died of bladder cancer years ago and it frightened me. We worked on this immediately with Logosynthesis. An hour later, the anxiety I had about this was pretty much gone.
Thanks to our previous work with Logosynthesis, I was already no longer afraid of the hospital and that was convenient because I needed surgery. When they called me to give me the surgery date I was very calm. It was as if they said the order was ready at the bakery.
I normally panic easily. My friends and my children were surprised that I was so calm during this whole process.

In 2014, my spouse was diagnosed with plexus papilloma, a rare tumor in the brain. Over the years, she has undergone the necessary radiation treatments with surgeries in her head and back.
With each run-up to a checkup, I experienced increasing mental and physical symptoms. I realized I needed help. This I found with Jannie Douma in the form of Logosynthesis.
A few weeks before the next MRI check-up we started to take a closer look at this fear. What was the cause of the anxiety? We ended up with a memory from 2016 where my wife had been very ill. I thought I was going to lose her. By speaking three sentences, which related to this memory, I immediately noticed what this did to me.
It seemed as if all the emotions around this theme "sank away"; as it were further away from me with less charge. The turmoil literally sank down. It was as if I was given more space, resulting in peace.
The last MRI check-up has now taken place. I can't help but say that in the run-up I experienced much more peace than compared to previous checks. The fear of having to have a bad news conversation (again) and of losing her were less predominant. I can also talk about it much easier now, I am less emotional. The physical symptoms are subsiding.
Thank you.
